There are so many“ex pats” who have hung around for generations, enjoying the expat package lifestyle and the presumed idea that they are more capable than the sons and daughters of the soil. Indeed, this has been a permanent fixture with so many formerly occupied nations. It does so much damage to many people's psyches in the workplace and shapes the power dynamics of the whole nation; it goes way beyond class; it is a racialised power imbalance by design, built on generational entitlement and ethno supremacy.
